Privileged to deliver the opening address and welcome at the Awareness enhancing workshop (17-19October 2023) on Foresight studies for relevant fisheries and aquaculture contributions through the EU supported FishGov2 project with AU-IBAR and co-implementors AUDA-NEPAD. The aim of this 3-day workshop is to inform decision-makers on the results and recommendations from the Foresight analyses conducted by the team of experts from Rhodes University. With evidence-based policy reforms, AUDA-NEPAD aims to improve access to quality knowledge products for sustainable fisheries and aquaculture policies. Looking forward to hearing the results and discussing how these findings will impact our policy decisions going forward. #Fisheries #Aquaculture #Sustainability #PolicyReforms
